If somebody has eyes for you it means he is interested in you.

If you are hitting it off with somebody that person has been ressponding favorably to you.

Something that is play money is something that you would tend to spend freely.

I guess you could call someone who is involved with a lot of people (especially people of the opposite sex) a playboy. There are other words that are used too. Often those words are not very flattering.

A few of the less objectionable ones:

M: gigolo, Lothario, lounge lizard [rather archaic], 'a bit of a lad', 'he puts it about a bit', 'he gets around', lady's man
F: nympho, Jezabel, 'she gets around', 'she's no better than she should be' [rather archaic, but still used sometimes, with stress on the should].

Default Re: has eyes for you? - ps

I take back 'Lothario' - which is rather literary and quite rare. I'll replace it with 'a player' - much more common (similarly, strictly used of a man).

How about "whore"/"slut"/"bimbo" (for female)? I know these words do sound offensive to many people and yet are used quite a great deal, especially in the heat of the moment. I believe that in the UK, the word "tart" is used instead.

Nowadays, the use of "player" (usually referring to male, in some cases also to female) is gaining popularity.

Yes, descriptions of promiscuous females are almost always derimental. Males tend to be seen as doing what is expected of them! Its a chauvinistic world I'm afraid.

Yes - I didn't mention bimbo (trying to keep it clean!), but it's an interesting word. If you look at the Italian (abbreviation for bambino) it should refer to a boy, but a "bimbo" is a young woman (kept strictly for decorative/sexual use).
