English phonological aspects
Hi, could you help me with this one.
I can't make head nor tale of it and as for phonological aspects its chinese to me.
Consider the form, function and phonological aspects of these items:
1. She used to have long hair
2. I was having bath when the phone rang
3. I wish I had worked harder
Any help would be greatly appreciated
many thanks
Maggie

Hi Maggie,
When you talk of phonological, do you mean how the words are pronounced? And if so which words are you referring to?

Ah - the three Fs. Are you doing a CELTA course, Maggie?
Form - words like 'present simple', 'past continuous', etc.
Function - words like 'to express habitual actions'
Phonology - schwa, elisions etc.
Good luck
