... but be careful Daisy. A bird both lives and brings up its young in a nest. A chimpanzee sleeps in a nest. But you normally see spiders waiting for prey in the middle of a web. They can have nests (perhaps they all do - I'm not an expert on spiders), but much the more collocation is with 'web'.

Yes, at least some spiders have nests. When a bird is hunting, it is also not in its nest.
