Default have somebody do and doing

Dear teachers,

I think in the following sentence 'SMOKE' is better than smoking. So could you please kindly explain if I could replace SMOKING in the sentence with SMOKE? If I can't could you please explain why?

I won't have anyone smoking in this office as long as I'm the boss here.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you in advance.

Jiang

Hi Jiang
.
In my opinion, to indicate that you won't allow people to do something, you need to use smoking.
.
Replacing it with smoke makes it sound like the "more usual" causative use of have (i.e. to ask someone else to do something)
