"My wife does not have appendicitis. And she doesn't have a broken bone. She has got the flu, and the symtopms are a fever and a headache.

Can I write like this: "...She has flu, fever and headache."?
Also, is it okay to start a sentence with "And" and "But" in my composition?
Again, I am having difficulty when using does, can I write it for,"The man does.."?

Ques: How come it is "requires" and not "require"?

"...She has flu, fever and headache."- this changes the meaning to suggest she has three problems, while the original suggests one problem with two symptoms.
You can start a sentence with 'and', but it is not greatly liked in formal usage.
Yes
It's a mistake- it should be 'require'.
