Can you tell me if there are any error in these sentence?
While we saw the Panthers soccer game we realized the players were yelling and howling throughout the whole game.
While sightseeing in New Orleans, he always had to stop for the bathroom places to eat and places to shop. Needless to say I didn’t like the trip because I was very bored.
I'd say 'while we were watching....' I don't see the need for 'whole' with 'throughout'.Originally Posted by Mae
In the second, I'd say 'he was always stopping' and put a comma after 'bathroom'. 'Enjoy' sounds betrter to me than 'like' in the last sentence.![]()

Note: The phrase "needless to say" adds nothing to the last sentence. Indeed, it rarely -- if ever -- adds anything to a sentence.
(Thanks, Tdol.)
