Default grammar check

Is the following sentence grammatically correct:
We apologise for the inconvenience caused and hope you accept our attempts to resolve and understand our reasoning on the same.

Ben
It isn't correct and it is difficult to read.

You have three verbs in that sentence, all connected with "and". At first, the third verb seems to be part of a compound verb in the second phrase, but it really is a third verb.|

We apologize for any inconvenience. We are attempting to resolve the problem, and we hope you find our solution acceptable.
