    Question meaning

    Well, take my stapler. It is beside the telephone.
    Ok, I got it.
    Does "got" mean "found" here?

    I think here that "got" implies that as well as finding the stapler, the person picked it up. If they had only found it, then they would probably say "Ok, found it."
