The question this time's a bit age-old. It's about GOP's once overwhelming blowout in 1994.Here's the line:"Gingrich stumbled over another conservative taboo last week when he mused in an interview that he would 'grow' into his new role as Speader.Almost immediately, half a dozen conservatives jumped him, Gingrich told TIME, and explained that 'grow' was 'a code word for selling out'.
what does "selling out" mean here?Thanks for your time!
