    Default ever since

    Hi everyone,

I was writing a short text and I got stumped with one simple sentence (shame on you, mate! ;)

Right, so the sentence is about a portait which has been in deposit of a museum since 1945 but has never been exhibited.

    Is it correct to write:
"It has been in the Museum’s collection since 1945 and has not been exhibited anywhere ever since"
    or should I rather write:
"It has been in the Museum’s collection since 1945 and has never been exhibited"?

And, first and foremost, is the first sentence grammatically correct? I'm not so sure about that...

    Thanks!
    Casper
