Dear teachers,
I have three questions to ask:
No.1
I am inclined to look at things FROM positive aspects.
Is it correct to replace 'from' with 'in'?
No.2
We can say 'He is a fourth grade student'. Could you please tell me if it is correct to say 'He is a grade four student'? Or is it correct to say 'He is a grade-four student'?
No.3
I don't know how to interpret the following sentence. Could you please kindly explain it to me?
It was nothing more selfish than that.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you in advance.

1. That would be better as "I am inclined to focus/concentrate on the positive aspects."
2. I would hyphenate "grade-four". It is fine as a replacement of fourth grade.
3. I'm not sure what that is trying to say. One can criticize an action by saying "There was nothing more selfish than that".
I've noticed that in Canada (Ontario, at least) they usually say "grade four" instead of "fourth grade."
