The Moon isn't a planet either, and you forgot Neptune.

In order (counting from the closest to the sun): Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Pluto is no longer classed as a real planet, but it, its moon Chiron and another, newly discovered, object called UB313 are now classified as "dwarf planets" or, more scientifically, trans-Neptunian objects.
