If I say "the tennis game we will play tomorrow", does it give you an impression that the game will be a serious or important one?
Or can I use the phrase in a situation like some people get together and play tennis just for fun?
If not, what phrase would you use instead?

The sentence the tennis game we will play tomorrow has not any implications whether it is an official game or a casual, between friends meeting. The only way to clarify is with the context (i.e. if you want to make the reder understand that it is an official game, you have to say so!)

If I translate the phrase into Japanese directly, it sounds a little strange.
It sounds as if there would be an official game. That's why I asked this question. The word "game", in the meaning of "match", seem to have an impression that it is official in Japanese.
Of course, there should be many exceptions, though.
