Smile meaning

A: Is a package tour more expensive than a regular one?
B: No. Actually, it is cheaper.
A: Sounds like fine. How much does it cost for the two of us?
B: It will come to something around $900.

What is the meaning of "sounds like fine"?
What does "something" mean here?
Thanks

[1] "Sounds ok to me" - Would probably have said "Sounds fine" rather than "Sounds like...."

[2] "Something around...." = Approximately

'Sounds like' requires a noun.: sounds like hard work, sounds like thunder, sounds like someone I know.... People who (mistakenly) say 'Sounds like fine' have probably either misheard - or copied someone else who has misheard - something like this.

Where did you go at the weekend?
We went to the new theme park - a whole crowd of us.
Sounds like fun.
