    Default Which is correct?

"Mix detergent with water (at/with/in) a ratio of 1 to 5."
Which is correct, at, with or in?
Also, 'a ratio' is OK? 'The ratio' is better?
    Thank you!

I would be inclined to say at a ratio of. However, in a ratio of is, apparently, used more often. From a Google search:
    at a ratio of--- 107,000,000

    in a ratio of--- 162,000,000
Apparently, I have a lot of company. So I don't feel so bad being in the minority.

I would say you could use either one. Either is correct.
