Red face Have / Put our finger crossed

Hi Dear,

"Have our finger crossed"
"Put our finger crossed"
  • May I know the meaning with examples of the aboved?
  • What are the differences between the aboved?
  • Should we use them in formal correspondence? Will it be too casual?
  • Are they idioms?
  • Are the structures correct, shall we put 's' for 'finger"
Good day / ju
