Smile Re: Conjunction 'though' and 'but'

    Hi there,

I need some help to findout whether it is alright to use the conjunction 'though' and 'but' together.

Is it wrong to phrase a sentence like the following?

    - Though he is smart and handsome, but he is very stubborn or
    - Though the path is difficult to walk, but we choose to walk together

Is there any examples in the internet that can point out whether these 2 sentences has correct grammar?

    Thank you for your help.

    Kind regards,
    Kim

Avalon is right, you can't use them together like this.

    Use either
The path is difficult to walk, but we choose to walk together
    or
Though the path is difficult to walk, we choose to walk together
