hello! may i ask if what is the difference between a misplaced and a dangling modifier? and if you can give examples.. thankyou!
They are basically the same. A misplaced modifier is in the wrong position to modify the appropriate noun or pronoun. With a dangling modifier, there is no logical noun or pronoun in the sentence. Most sources discuss these things together and don't bother to differentiate them.

Flying around a flower, John saw a bee. [The phrase should modify "bee" not "John".]
