please check grammar usage of the following.


if you don't mind me asking

or


if you don't mind my asking,

and another one


had a dream of me facing impending doom


or


had a dream of my facing impending doom

The first two are both grammatically correct, but the second is far more common.

The second two are also grammatuical, but the second is a bit odd. The dream was a about a person in a certain circumstance. #1 fits that sense much better. In the second, the dream is about "facing".
