On the one hand, it may look ambiguous, as "things seem to be boring in a humorous and understable way." On the other hand, I suppose it is understandable. One could also say,
2. "In a humorous and understandable way, he explains things that for many seem to be boring,"
or
3. "He explains in a humorous and understandable way things that for many seem to be boring,"
Dear teachers, is (1) ambiguous and (2) and (3) are better?
Thanks,
Nyggus | The first is understandable, but it is a bit ambiguous. The other two are better. You could also separate "boring" from "in" with a comma in the first one. |
