The plural form of sit-up.
Tears wash things out of the eyes. What do the tears do? Is the before tears correct?
The world's beauty or the beauty of the world?
Our eyes are the most important part of our body. The most important part of our body is or are our eyes? Part is singular but eyes plural.
Thanks

1. sit-ups
2. "the tears" is correct. "What do tears do?" would also be correct.
3. "The world's beauty" and "the beauty of the world" are both correct.
4. "Eyes are..." eyes is the (plural) subject, it requires a plural verb (are). "...part of our bodies is..." part is the (singular) subject, it requires a singular verb (is).

The reason for the singular verb in your last senetnce is that the subject controls the verb's number.
