relative clause
(1) We went to Paris, where we stayed a week.
(2) We went to Paris where we stayed a week.
(3) We went to Paris, and then we stayed a week.
About the sentences I gave, I think it is just a problem of writing style.
Therefore, they all are the same, right?

The clause where we stayed a week is a nonessential relative clause. Thus, the comma should be there. Other than that, they are all perfect.

Is "staying a week" the same as "staying for a week?" BMO
