    Default everything and anything

    Dear teachers,

Both of the following two sentences are correct, right?

We can do everything we want to if we stick to it long enough.
We can do anything we want to if we stick to it long enough.

Looking foward to hearing from you.

    Thank you in advance.

    I would say
We can do everything we need to if we stick to it long enough

    Second sentence is fine.

Need and want have different connotations.

Need is a necessity, want is a desire

I would say they are both correct and have equivalent meanings.
