They
run (or sometimes
roll): 'Cue the music; run the credits'. You can read smth in the credits, but you're more likely to say 'The credits give the director as Antonioni' or 'Antiononi is credited as the director'. (This is a BE view, and I know you asked Ouisch specifically; but film-related jargon is one of the prime conduits of AmE introductions into BE.)
You can also say 'get a credit':
My father never got a credit as a director, though he directed a few shorts.

In the PC world you get 'marquee text' and 'ticker' - the latter deriving from
ticker-tape, I guess. You can have a
news-ticker at the foot of your screen though, that has nothing to with strips of paper.
