    Smile meaning

    I have too much math homework and I don't understand a thing. What is the meaning of "a thing" here?

    Is there a gym in your school. Is "in" correct?

    That's right! We use 'in' with the building when we think about building itself.

    "A thing" means any single thing. She doesn't understand anyhting about the subject.

    One can have a gym in or at one's school.
