Ready for

Hello. May I use ready in a meaning expecting, like in a sentence, "I am ready for your criticism" for "I expect you will criticize my idea"? I suppose no, but this is a direct translation from Polish, and it works there.

It means more than that to me- it means you will respond to the criticism or that you are prepared (mentally) for it.
