Question: "with attitude to spare"

When someone says that those books are for women with attitude to spare, what does he mean? What kind of women are they?

I understand "women with attitude to spare" to mean aggressive women, women who do not consider themselves subservient to anybody. "Attitude" describes an aggressive, even belligerent outlook. "To spare" means more than needed or a surplus.
