on

"On" usually refers to something with a horizontal surface for standing.

'At" usually refers to a general location.

They merge with something like the corner of a street. One can be at a corner or on a corner.

There is diffcult to disinguish between "at" and "in". Could you explain that? Thanks.
Example: at home, at office
in office, in school
