could you please tell me whether there is a difference between "national insurance" and "social insurance"?

Here are the definitions of national and social insurance.

National Insurance :
It isbased on contributions from employers and employees; provides payments to unemployed and sick and retired people as well as medical services.

Social Insurance :
Government provision for unemployed or injured or aged; financed by contributions from employers and employees as well as by government revenue

Basically National Insurance is a kind of Social insurance.
