Is the sentence "do you want to see something?" a complex sentence with an embedded clause? If not, what type of sentence is it?

Not by traditional grammar terminology.
It is a simple sentence in question form.
you = pronoun, subject
do want = complete verb
to see = infinitive as a noun, acting as the direct object of the verb
something = pronoun, direct object of the infinitive
to see something = infinitive phrase acting as the complete direct object
