Default Re: bicycle

hi,

In what context have you met the word bicycling? As bicycle is a noun. If you want to use it as a verb you have to say ride a bicycle, or in continuous form riding a bicycle. Anyway the stress is : / 'baisikl /

You can say 'bicycling'- we went bicycling last week. It isn't very common because most would use 'cycling'. I would stress the first syllable.
