Default depedning on the amount of study?

Hello!
Does it make sense if i say like,

During the vacation, depending on how much time you spend on studying, or how well you have prepared for your study for the following semester, you will have a successful vacation.

also, what do you say making a plan for study?

Once you have made a plan for your study, you have to carry out your plan.(can i say like this?)

Looking forward to seeing your answers. Thanks a lot!!!!!!!!!!!

The success of your vacation is dependant on on how much time you spend on studying and preparing for the following semester.

Once you have made your study plan it is essential that you carry it out.
