Are you asking about the construction "a parent such as you"?

If it's something 'such people as know' it means 'those people that know'.

I'd add that this structure is fairly rare, and in informal speech people tend to use the sort of construction Tdol has mentioned by way of definition. Occasionally, the noun is dropped:

Such as have ears to hear means 'Anyone who will listen' [and implies that there are probably not very many of them].
