I think I'd agree with your answers; except I'd use "climate" in #3, not "climates".
I might phrase the questions 1 slightly differently, though:
1. The Korean kept their own language and culture, and they still keep it/them today.
— "Korean" > "Koreans"; and "keep" is an odd verb, in this context. Perhaps "retained/retain".
