Are these sentences correct?
1. I usually go out every night, but I'm studying a lot at the moment, so I'm only going out on weekends until my exams are finished.
2. When I was younger, my family would always go to the beach in summer. We had/would have some great beach parties!

I'd use 'used to' here.

I used to go out every night

We used to have great beach parties

"I used to go out every night" would work if the person didn't do that activity anymore, nut he plans to resume doing it again, so I think "usually" fits better here.

You could use "used to" for the second one, but that would not (IMHO) be an improvement.
