Question doubt to understand the context

what is the difference between these two sentences:

I wouldn´t mind chatting with you as a friend and I wouldn´t mind chatting with you as your friend !

Difference is 'a' friend and 'your' friend. 'A' friend is less personal, as you are one of many friends. 'Your' friend is more intimate, being more special and important.
