Default usage of the word 'also'

Hi,
I want to know where exactly in a sentence does the word 'also' be used. It is indeed a very common word. But I want to know the correct way to use it.
For example, here are two sample usages of the word and I am at bay to decide which one is correct:

The article also details the other routes to London.
Also, the article details the other routes to London.

Even this one is serviceable:

The article details also the other routes to London.
