Smile simple present and present continuous

I am at present doing a part-time CELTA course and have to prepare a lesson for my students introducing the simple present and present continuous tenses. I wondered if anybody could give me any ideas as the textbook looks rather bland and I've been told I can use different tasks if I wish.

Thanks.
