More than ---- invention of the last eighty years or so, television has been the most harmful to family life.

A) some other B) any other

I think B is OK, but is A also OK? If not, why?

Your sentence compares television to all other inventions and declares it the most harmful. Therefore, you must use any other. If you say some other, you mean that some are less harmful and some are not.

Thank you.

What about "every"? Would it give the same meaning as "any" in this sentence?
