Hello Everyone,

How many days do peopel usually take off during the Thanksgiving days season in US and uk?

and do people in spain and portugue spend the the thanksgiving day?how many days will they take off then?

None in the UK, it's a US thing.

In UK we call it the Harvest Festival'

In China maybe 'Moon Cake' festival?

I think most countries/cultures have a celebration at this time to celebrate a good harvest.

In the US, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. Most people like to make it a four-day weekend and take Friday off as a holiday, as well. However, people who work in retail usually have to work, as the Friday after Thanksgiving officially kicks off the Christmas shopping season.
