 How many days do people take off during the Thanksgiving day season? How many days do peopel usually take off during the Thanksgiving days season in US and uk? and do people in spain and portugue spend the the thanksgiving day?how many days will they take off then? Thank you! |

| Re: How many days do people take off during the Thanksgiving day season? None in the UK, it's a US thing.  In UK we call it the Harvest Festival' In China maybe 'Moon Cake' festival? | Re: How many days do people take off during the Thanksgiving day season? In the US, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. Most people like to make it a four-day weekend and take Friday off as a holiday, as well. However, people who work in retail usually have to work, as the Friday after Thanksgiving officially kicks off the Christmas shopping season.  |
