Please check if there are any grammatical mistakes or wrong sentence structures on my private policy statement :)

I would think so. A private policy would be one you wouldn't want anybody to know about.Originally Posted by Red5

As Red said, it should be Privacy Policy.
Re:
- Registration
Registration is not required to use this site, with the exception of the Chat Room section where users must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give contact information including a username, password, and valid email address. We do not use this information for other purposes except informing users about new content being added on the site which we believe would benefit the users as a whole.
Say:
- Registration is not required to use this site, with the exception of the Chat Room section, where users must first complete the registration form. During registration, a user is required to give contact information, including a username, password, and valid email address. We do not use this information for purposes other than informing users about new content.
I considered making that last sentence longer, but I decided that it says it all as is. What do you think?
:)
Re:
- Information Use
All information collected by English Daily is of a non-personal nature. English Daily records aggregate information such as number of users, location, server type, and method of arriving at English Daily. This information is not sold or given to third parties under any circumstances.
That's good. :)
Re:
- Cookies
We do not use cookies on the users' computer as we believe this will only create unnecessary anxiety on the part of the users who simply want to get some information for their English study.
The only thing I would change there is I would put the apostrophe in users after the ar.
(Because UE uses cookies I don't have to log in every time I want to access the site. I don't have to remember my password to access the site. UE instantly "recognizes" me.)
Re:
- Log Files
Like most standard Website servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.
I would only change two things there. Put a comma after servers (first sentence). Change track user's movement to track users' movements.
That's all for now.
