| In the second half- you could say in the latter half, but not second latter. |

| There is an execise called "Language traps" in a Cambridge book. There are a list of incorrect sentences that have to be corrected. In this book appears the following sentence: "They moved house in the second half of last year" In the last pages of the book there are the keys, and here says that insead of half we must use latter. I do not undesrtand why. I am still puzzled. |
