I live in the Midwestern US, and I've never heard of "point states." Perhaps you mean "Plains States," as those were the states that were hit hardest (along with the Midwest) by the storm.
"Plains States" refers to the Great Plains, which consists of parts of Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, and Wyoming. |
