    "A long marriage is two people trying to dance a duet and two solos at the same time."

    I don't understand what the sentence means.
    espeically, ' a long marriage' is what I want to understand.

    'A long marriage' is a marriage that last a long time. It means that they have to maintain their individuality and have the dual identity of a couple at the same time to succeeed.
