    The bad news is....anything worthwhile takes time and practice. There are no shortcuts in learning a language.

    Do you have access to English language TV shows or movies? It sometimes helps to "train" your ear a bit to listen to native speakers, even if you don't understand every single word. Good luck, and keep working at it!
