I have a question about the following structures.

Example.

Statement 1: He is rich.
Response 1: Not nearly as rich as you are.

Is the below variation in Response 2 correct prescriptively?


Statement 1: He is rich.
Response 1: Not nearly as you.

In the second example, the response is incomplete.
