| What is the different between the following sentences? 1. Hotel bill for Mr. Sravan Kumar for 2 days in Delhi. 2. Hotel bill of Mr. Sravan Kumar for 2 days in Delhi. 3. Travelling Allowance for Mr. Sravan Kumar for 2 days in Delhi. 4. Travelling Allowance of Mr. Sravan Kumar for 2 days in Delhi. Regards, Sweetie |

| For me, 1 & 3 are the natural choices. 2 & 4 could be used in some circumstances, but not all. If the hotel were handing the bill over, then 'of' sounds strange to me, but if Mr Kumar handed the piece of paper to accounts when he got back, then it would be possible to use 'of', though it would be more natural to me to say 'Mr Kumar's hotel bill'. |
