the English language

Hello!

I'm 16 years old, and a student at Frederik II vgs in Norway. Tomorrow (12.12.06) I have a big english exam about the English language:
- Who uses English as an international means of communication
- The areas in wich English is used, in everyday situations and at work
- How literary texts and films differ according to where in the world they have been produced

I wondered if you know about some internet sites or something that I could read to get a better knowledge at this subject. Or maybe one of the teachers from this site could learn me something?
