Incidentally, it's unusual to use a first-person pronoun twice in this case:

'I've got a friend who always tells me what to do.'

What do you mean by that?

which is correct? my friend? or a friend?

Is this correct too?

1. I've got a friend who always told me what to do.
2. I've got my friend who always told me what to do.
3. I've got my friend Bob who always told me what to do.
