could you please proofread the following text (especially the use of the expressions "excess" and "excesses")? The text refers to telecommunication services for which specific guaranteed parameters are determined which should not be exceeded.

For each excess of the Guaranteed Parameter by the Excess Value, the User shall obtain the agreed Penalty Amount. The agreed Penalty Amount will be multiplied by the number of excesses of the Guaranteed Parameter by the Excess Value.

I'm not sure of the exact meaning of these sentences. Assuming that these "excesses" refer to uses that exceeded what was allowed, you might simplify this.

For each use that exceeds the Guaranteed Parameter, the user will be assessed the agreed Penalty Amount.
